Nicole Sweet is a commercial photographer based between Los Angeles, Dakar, and New York, specializing in sports, surf, athlete culture, and lifestyle campaigns.

Her commercial clients include Billabong, Nike, Red Bull, the NBA, WHOOP, and Kloud. Her editorial work has been published in Afrosurf, Afrosport, and Women Making Waves. She served as the New York Knicks official team photographer for three seasons and is a wire photographer for Getty Images, AP, and USA Today Sports.

She moved to Dakar in 2020 and has spent the years since documenting West African surf and sports culture — work that has taken her across Senegal and led to campaigns with global brands. In 2021 she photographed the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League in Kigali, Rwanda. She shoots with access built on trust and long-term relationships within the communities she works in.
